This is a comfortable holiday apartment in a popular guesthouse, in a sunny and central location. Owing to the quiet location on a residential road parallel to the main road, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday with many amenities within walking distance. The surroundings with the lovely, slightly hilly and varied Alpine foothill landscape offer a range of newly waymarked cycling and hiking trails, at the foot of the majestic Alps. It is also worth going on day trips to famous winter sports resorts, famous sights, castles and monuments, swimming lakes and wellness facilities.

The inviting, spacious apartment is on the first floor and comprises 85m² of living space. It is classified as four-star and welcomes you into a charmingly decorated interior, with two bedrooms with double beds, a separate and fully-equipped kitchen, a living and dining room and a light shower room. The first bedroom has a generous double bed (180 x 200cm) with two single mattresses and bedside tables on either side. The second bedroom can accommodate up to three people in a double bed (180 x 200cm) and a single bed (90 x 200cm). Bed linen and a cot are available. You can sit comfortably in the living room on the corner sofa, with satellite TV providing entertainment in the evening. The balcony door allows plenty of daylight into the living room, so it is pleasantly light. On the other side of the room there is the dining corner with a corner bench and two cushioned chairs, for enjoying meals together, adjoining the separate kitchen, which enables convenient and extensive self-catering with a built-in kitchen with a dishwasher, four-zone hob with an oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, and small electrical appliances such as an egg boiler, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The light bathroom has a fully-glazed shower cubicle, a washbasin with an illuminated mirror, a WC, a window and a hairdryer. Towels and wireless Internet access are included. All the rooms have radiators.

The balcony affords a wonderful view of the Alpine chain. The Hopferauer guest card allows you to take buses and trains in the southern Allgäu free of charge.

The accommodation is just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Hopferau. Within 200 to 300 metres you can find a grocery shop, a bakery and a butcher, as well as a petrol station with bicycle hire. There are many restaurants and the newly renovated Hopferau castle with its own gastronomy awaiting your visit. Active holiday-makers can chooses between hiking, Nordic walking, jogging, mountain hiking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, right from the doorstep. The grandiose forest adventure centre in Füssen and the newly opened treetop trail are ideal for families with children. The climbing garden in Pfronten is also of interest, along with the Nordic walking park and the biathlon centre in Nesselwang. The water and lake paradise of the Allgäu invites you to swim, sail, surf, fish, ride pedalos, rowing boats or canoes in its crystal clear natural lakes. On cool or rainy days you can enjoy wellness e.g. at the Kristall-Therme in Schwangau (11km) with several hot water pools, a hammam and a big sauna landscape, or the ABC-Alpspitz leisure pool in Nesselwang 16km away, or the new Alpentherme in Reutte (19km). Füssen is about 7km away, with a wealth of cultural, musical and historical sights and events. Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles are about 13km away. There are various Alpine skiing areas within 20 km.
