The proximity of Velebit enriches this area with its parks, caves, promenades and cycling trails. The Modri? cave is a speleological treasure at the foot of Velebit, and the Church of St. Jurja in the town itself is a pearl of ancient Croatian sacral architecture. Be sure to visit other settlements in Jasenice, such as Maslenica, Rovanjska and Zaton Obrova?ki. An unmissable place to visit is Paklenica NP, a mountaineer's paradise with a beautiful karst relief, the highest peak of Velebit and a beautiful black pine forest. Finally, don't miss out on visiting beautiful Zadar with its many cultural and historical sights, such as the Church of St. Donata, St. Sto?ija and St. Mary, Chest of St. Simon.
