Stylish living with a hammock and fridge could be the title of the photo showing the inviting façade of the ground-floor building. Who would guess that the Rafa Nadal Sports Centre is just around the corner? The owner of the villa makes it easy for his guests and provides fresh eggs, bread, croissants and a few holiday tips and recommendations. You can enjoy your breakfast on the large, shady terrace with dining table and comfortable lounge furniture and always have a cool drink within reach. There is plenty of open, tarmac space around the olive tree, which offers space for both parking and playing. The blue of the pool shimmers through the childproof wooden fence; you only realise how picturesquely the pool blends into the lovingly landscaped garden when you walk around the house. Straw umbrellas, palm fronds and flowering shrubs form the backdrop for a perfect sunny day with a taste of salt water - the sea will have a hard time luring you to the lively beaches.

Es Pinar de Can Busco is in pole position at least if you believe the many trophies displayed above the front door. The large fireplace and TV together make for a cosy evening. The solid and large rustic kitchen is right next door and has a handy utility room, which also has a wine bottle rack (they probably won't age long here). Warm wood and large-format pictures characterise the atmosphere of the interiors and comfortable armchairs and the walk-in wardrobe set the tone in the four bedrooms. The two bathrooms are also impressive: large mirror fronts, two washbasins each, walk-in shower or raised bathtub and plenty of storage space; although one bathroom is en-suite, it is located in such a way that it can also be used comfortably by other guests. Everything is ready for your morning routine, and then it's off to explore the island ...

Move easily from one town to another: Manacor, known for the production of Mallorcan pearls, offers you convenient bus and train connections to Palma. This saves you the hassle of searching for a parking space in the bustling capital. The historic town centre of Manacor, the extensive pedestrian shopping area, the large weekly market and the Aldi shop, which opened in September 2016, are all within easy reach of Es Pinar de Can Busco, from where you can hear the two connecting roads. Once you have breathed enough city air, a multitude of beaches, bays and harbours along the coast will whisk you away to a glittering sea world. Our tip: In S'Estany d'en Mas, head to Cala Romàntica, where glass-bottomed boats are moored. Porto Cristo offers excellent fish restaurants and the perfect backdrop for a Noche romántica.

Close to the city and family-friendly: This well-kept gem Es Pinar de Can Busco with its 10-metre pool and idyllic garden combines rural tranquillity with the variety of city life Manacor is only 5 km away, making the location ideal for shopping, sightseeing and eating out in restaurants. In less than an hour, the Ma-15 motorway takes you not only to Palma, but also to Artà and Cala Ratjada. The east coast, 10 km away, offers a rich beach life and promenades for walking as well as lots of fun and adventure for your children, for example in Coves del Drac.
